Vintage Cast Iron Brighton Meat Press

This cast Iron meat press was used to extract juices and grease to make broth and savory juices. Another term may also be used when referring to this press as a lard press. This was a "must have" item in kitchens in the 1800-1900's.This press is in good condition and could be used today. See the photo which shows the four parts of the press. The press stands 7 inches high when the press is screwed all the way down and 4 inches wide at the bottom. Brighton is embossed on the handle and Meat Press on the arches. Weighs 5 lbs. It is fun to have a piece of real history in your home!
