Lander Hurricane Lamp Perfume Bottle

The Lander Company was founded by Charles Oestrich in 1920. They have been making quality beauty products at affordable prices for over 85 years. In the 1940's-50's Lander products were a staple in the "5 & 10" stores. They produced many novelty bottles such as reindeer.swan and lamp bottles.

This lamp bottle is in very good condition and still has the goldtone hurricane shade. Perfume has remained in the bottle. There is a rubber stopper in the bottle opening to keep the scent in the bottle. The bottle is missing the label so I do not know the scent. The bottle has a screw top,stands 4"'s high and is 1 3/4"'s across the shade.

I have had this and a duplicate lamp for over 45 yrs obtained from a relatives estate. This is a Vintage cute novelty bottle to display.
