Vintage Clear Glass With Etching Mustard Pot

This little glass pot is at least 70-80 years old. Other condiments could be used in this pot. Back in the arly 1900's mustard ready made was beginning to appear in the store but many still made their mustard from mustard powder. Grandma said home made was much better and had a hotter taste...They stored there mustard in mustard pots.

This pot stands 4 inches high and is 3 inches across the top. There is a lid that has a notch for the serving spoon. There is etching around the top as well as a geometric design around the middle of the pot. There is a ring ridge on the bottom that may indicate this was hand blown. The style and design has a real art deco feeling.

This little pot seems to be of a higher quality than others I have seen and is in very good condition.
