ETIENNE AIGNER Vintage Nantucket Basket Straw Handbag

This is a handbag from my own private collection. It is in near excellent condition, very clean inside, however there are a few dents in the brass on the back as shown in the photo. I think the dents in the hardware were there when I bought the bag as I hardly used it except for special occasions, and the bag would have been damaged if it suffered a blow hard enough to dent the hardware.

I have been up in my mother's attic going through things that got packed away when I went off to college and have decided to sell some of my collection. More items will be put up for sale as I unpack things. I always worked when I was in high school and college so I was able to buy some nice things for myself, and I started collecting antiques when I was very young...!

The bag is made from leather and straw.It dates from the late 1960s.

The bag measures 9" wide by 5-1/2" high by 6" deep with a handle drop that measures over 6".
