VIntage Petroglyph Hand Painted Bead Choker Necklace with Cinnabar - Art Deco Styled Primitive

This is a Mystery Piece. I have had this necklace for some time and have been unable to identify it. I have shown it to other dealers but haven't gotten a satisfactory Identification. Each bead is individually handpainted with the same design.

The figure on each bead appears to be a stylized bird. This depiction of the bird reminds me of a Petroglyph, however the beads are not carved, they are painted and most likely slip glazed. The beads are a soft type of ceramic, the small black beads are glass and are separated with brass spacers. The small red beads appear to be cinnabar. The cinnabar beads could also be a type of Faience bead.

The necklace measures 17-1/2" long. The beads are slightly graduated ranging in size from 13.5mm to 16mm.
