Victorian Amethyst 10 Karat Gold Oval Fleur De Lis Pin - France

The pin is decorated with small flowers raised by acid etching and has a Fleur De Lis Gallery setting for the stone.

There are some very tiny fleabites observable at 20X here and there in the girdle and facets of the stone as would be normal for the age of the piece, however the table does not have any scratches on it.

The cut of the stone is very symmetrical, the color is translucent. This is probably a Ural Amethyst since I suspect that the piece is French by the design and high level of craftsmanship.

The piece measures almost 1-1/4" wide by almost 1".
