100% Silk Sari / Saree Fabric 6 Yds Yellow Teal Purple Floral Stripe

This wonderful sari fabric was purchased in 1994 at a specialty boutique in upstate NY and has never been used. It is a beautiful, glowing tissue silk patterned for use as a saree wrap, but it would also make a beautiful skirt, dress, trousers, pillows or anything else.

The colors are pale yellow, turquoise, teal, magenta and dark purple. The main central pattern is sprigs of tiny flowers on a narrow striped ground with a border pattern of flowers and vines. One end has a wide band of solid yellow with leaf-shaped motifs and a band of narrow stripes, and the other end has horizontal narrow stripes.

It is 42" wide x approx. 6 yards long, and is in fine shape. Also included is information on the fabric written by the shop clerk, which says 'Made in Kashmir, pure silk 420 knots per square inch. Made by Mohanad Ali, Shike Ali, Gulan Ali". The original 1994 price label of $100 is still attached.
