Vintage Frankoma Octagonal Vase - Brown Satin

This little vase was made by the Frankoma Potteries of Oklahoma. I believe this is their Brown Satin glaze over the red Sapulpa clay. On the bottom it is stamped FRANKOMA and the design number 38. These were first produced in 1967 and were called the 6" Octagonal Vase.

This actually measures about 6 3/4" tall. Because it is tapered it measures about 2 9/16" in diameter at the scalloped top and 2 3/4" at the base. It is in generally good condition but there is a nick on the bottom edge of one panel.
