Vintage Lefton Bird Figure - Cardinal on Stump GG1722

This is an old Lefton China cardinal figurine. It is a beautifully hand painted figure of a single cardinal standing a branch with a single flower and leaves. The bird is looking back at his wing almost as though preening. On the bottom it has the foiled paper label that reads; Lefton Trade Mark - Exclusives - Japan. There is also the design number GG1722.

It measures about 5 5/8” tall and about 5 1/8” across at the base. It is in very nice condition with little to no wear.
