Vintage Black Mammy & Chef Salt & Pepper Set
This old black mammy & chef salt & pepper are small but very colorful. They have a classic appearance with her in a polka dot bandana and him in stripped pants. The paint is all under glaze. They are not marked but were probably made in Japan around late 1940's or early 1950's.

They both measures about 3 1/8" high and are in very good condition showing minimal wear and no damage. One of the holes in his head was never pushed completely through.
