Vintage Hardbound General Foods Kitchen Cookbook - 1959 Edition

This old recipe book is by The Women of General Foods Kitchen. It was designed to help in the hundreds of everyday and special situations that call for the planning, preparing, and serving of food. Lots of menus with recipes, handy tips and colorful pictures. This hardbound edition has 436 including the index. It has a 1959 copyright by Random House. It was given as a gift and a To; & From: is written on the first page in ink. No dust jacket.

It measures about 8 5/8” by 9 ¼” by 1 1/4” and is in good condition. The linen covered hardbound cover shows very minimal edge wear. The pages are basically crisp and clean. The spine is generally tight but the front cover is starting to break away slightly. There are no loose or missing pages and it is quite usable.
