White Mexican Pottery Vase with Bird Design

This small pottery vase was made in Mexico. The exterior has a slightly smooth white sand texture with a high gloss and semi-gloss glaze design on both the front and back. The design on the front is a bird with its wings extended over a leaf or fern frond. The back has a simple blue design. The inside is glazed so it can be used to hold water. It is marked; Mexico on the bottom.

It measures about 5 3/8” tall and is in good condition with no damage. There is a dark area above the birds head which appears to be some sort of stain.
