Mexican Pottery Salt & Pepper Birds & Butterflies - Ken Edwards Collection

This pair of pottery shakers has a fun egg like shape with nice graphics. One side of each has a blue bird with a butterfly at each end. The opposing sides have a colorful abstract floral design. On the bottoms they are marked; Mexico and KE along with a scorpion mark. I believe the KE stands for Ken Edwards, an artisan that worked with Jorge Wilmot in the 1950's to popularize this distinctive style.

They measure about 2 1/2” high and about 3” wide and are in very good condition with no damage.

The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
