Dudson Stoneware Sprigged Teapot

A fine early 20thC glazed stoneware teapot from the Staffordshire Dudson works, the shoulder and base bowl of the pot moulded with continuous ogee banding. The pot has a jasper green glaze and decorated with relief sprigging of classical figures, the spout with acanthus and the cover has a button-shape knop. Impressed mark to inside cover and footrim of base. Size: 4.5" high x 7.5" across handle to spout Condition: Very good, with no damage.
