Mappin & Webb Silver Plate Breakfast Set for Four & Original Spoons
An unusual design and a remarkable set for an elegant and impressive vintage breakfast table. The tray stands on four bun shape feet and holds the four egg-cups around a central stem and handle. Inset into the raised base of the centre stem are shaped slots in which the spoons stand, ready for use. The set is in splendid condition with no significant damage or dings, a tiny nick in the foot of one eggcup as shown in image #7. The base of the stand fully marked, the spoons also marked for Mappin & Webb and are original to the set.
Size: Stand 8.5" high to top of handle. 6" square at base.
