Frock With Kimono Sleeves Pattern, Size 18
This is a wonderful Frock pattern, which is from the 1930's or early 40's. It was ordered from the ARIZONA REPUBLIC PHOENIX, ARIZ. The postage on the envelope has one Cent on it. This pattern is by Marian Martin Patterns; it is pattern No. 9098 and contains the original newspaper order sheet describing the pattern, as "You'll really live in this cool Marian Martin frock". There is also a picture on the front of the envelope that show's a woman sewing and says "First in women's news, features and special articles". The pattern is 5 pieces, and is a size 18. The measurements are Bust 36, Waist 30 and Hips 39. The pattern is in mint condition and has never been opened it is in a separate see through envelope that has small tears on the top of the flap (see photo). The instruction sheet does show some slight discoloring from age. The envelope on this pattern is in mint condition and was opened on the flap so there are no tears but there is a dark area on the bottom left side.
