Czechoslovakia, Erphila Salt & Pepper

This is a truly great find for a Czechoslovakia Collector. This salt and pepper set of a man and woman is marked Checho Slovakia on the bottom and has a gold label on the front of the lady that says "E R EST in C with 1886 below and Erphila on the bottom. This item bears the ink mark on the bottom as well as the gold label. It appears that there may have been a sticker on the back of the man. There is an area that is sort of sticky. Excellent condition, this item does not have any chipping or cracks in either piece and they both have cork stoppers on the bottom. According to information taken from Schroeder's 15th edition the gold label was a sign this piece was imported sometime between 1920 and 1930. They both measure 3 1/8 inches tall and almost 1 1/2 inches at the widest point. These are very unique pieces of Czechoslovakia pottery that should be enjoyed by a collector. Please view all the photos very carefully.
