1952 Ad - GIBSON Christmas CARDS ~ feat. Lucia Lerner Artwork

This full-colour, vintage greeting cards ad features a picture of a stylish, young mother and her daughter selecting the right card for those on their Christmas Card List - "a wonderful thought for everyone!". The artist-signed illustration is by the renowned, Chicago commercial artist, Lucia Lerner. Lucia (as she signed her work) did a number of commissions for the Gibson Art Company of Cincinnati, Ohio. This is a great, retro '50s image, don't you think?
