German Beer Stein Indoor Cabin Scene Pewter Lid

This vintage German beer stein has a shiny glazed smooth body, with a bright and colorful transfer indoor cabin scene, with two women, a gentleman and a dog. Base has a striped foot ring and pewter lid is quite ornate, with detailed finial and pierced thumblift.

Back of stein is marked 0.5L. Base has some blue markings that are illegible, an impressed M and impressed numbers 1357. I have been unable to identify the maker. I did find one with a different style stein and the identical transfer scene listed as c. 1900 in The Beer Stein Book by Kirsner & Gruhl.

Stein measures 8 3/4 inches high and approximately 3 1/2 inches wide. Condition is excellent, with no cracks, chips, repairs or stains.
