Antique David Andersen 830 Silver Tea Caddy Spoon Norway

Here is a wonderful Norwegian silver tea caddy spoon. Has a gold wash leaf form bowl with a curled and twisted handle. The mark is for that of David Andersen and was used between 1888 and 1925 but this style of spoon dates to about 1900. It would have been used to spoon out tea leaves. You can see on the back of the spoon that the bowl is made up of three separate sections: the handle extends all the way down the center of the bowl and the two serrated side pieces are joined to it. The spoon measures 4-1/4" in length. Excellent condition. Has two pin head sized dots in the bowl and several on the back of the bowl, very minor. Gold wash is in excellent condition. There are no pings or dents. It has been freshly and gently hand polished.
