Victorian Cut Coin Silver Belt Buckle - Guatemalan Coins

This gorgeous buckle is made from eighteen 1/4 Real coins from Guatemala, with random dates between 1875 and 1897 and a larger cut out coin that honors the Guatemalan independence day. The coins on the catcher are bent but there are no other issues to be noted. The coins themselves cannot be separated for coin collections because they are firmly soldered.

The center is 1-7/8" across with the center coin measuring about 1-1/4". The two side pieces, each with three coins, is about 1-1/4" tall by 7/16" wide. This gives a total width of approximately 4-1/4" when assembled. All the pieces are original to the buckle, there have been no modern replacements. I have not polished the buckle but it would polish nicely if you choose to do so. I recommend Sunshine Cloths for gently cleaning and shining silver.
