Vintage Brooch Van S Authentics Brushed Gold Plated Ribbon Vans Pin

A chunky brushed gold plated vintage brooch marked Van S Authentics (aka Vans) made by the Jewelry Company started by the Moonans in the 1930s (The company was sold in 1969, and also made a line of jewelry for children, named after their daughter, Wendy) The piece is numbered 7039 and I believe it is vintage c 1940s. My research indicates that these pieces were gold plated. The brooch in excellent condition, with an older style rollover safety C clasp holding the pin securely. Dimensions are approx 1 3/4 x 1 inch
