Vintage Cape Coat Wool Taupe Lined Military Cloak Epaulettes Pockets Belt

A Mod style cape coat from the 1960s - 1970s Mod era, that is made from a camel or taupe colored wool blend and fully lined in a soft golden sateen fabric, with deep pockets and tailored panels under the folds of the cape's bat wing sleeves, and there is a removable sash belt. The cape coat has a deep collar that looks great flapped up or down, and the shoulders are gently padded, accentuated with button down military style epaulettes

I cannot find any label or care instructions so this may have been expertly tailor or custom made. The shape and cut are such that it would fit any size, but seems tailored more to a medium - large than small, and not for petite.

The cape hangs longer in the middle than the sides, poncho style, but buttons all the way open in front. When buttoned up, it swings into elegant folds, accentuated when the sash belt is fastened. There is one button missing at the very bottom, not really needed, or you can try to match or replace. The original buttons are a nicely marbled in taupe and ivory shades.

Measurements: The length in the middle back is 44 inches, 42 inches in front, 32 inches at the side under panels.

Shoulder width is 16 inches, and also 16 inches from the shoulder seam to the edge of the caped sleeves
