Vintage Evening Handbag Chain Sling Clutch Purse Rhinestones La Regale Bag

A vintage evening purse, convertible from a small clutch to a shoulder bag with a long silver tone snake chain strap, that tucks inside when the handbag is used as a clutch. The maker is La Regale. The outside is a silver lame with a mesh or net cover, liberally studded with crystal prong set chaton rhinestones. The frame is brushed silvertone metal, with a kiss clasp, and the inside is a silvery white satin.

Condition is excellent with all the rhinestones intact and no damage to the delicate mesh or lame fabric. The satin interior is almost perfect, with very light discoloration near the top.

Dimensions are 6 3/4 x 4 1/2 x 3/4 inches, and the snakechain has a 22 inch drop, so around 44 inches long.
