Vintage Evening Handbag Gold Lame Purse Jeweled Clasp Chain Strap or Clutch

An elegant little evening bag that is mid Century vintage, made by Lady Accessory, and converts from a clutch purse to a shoulder strap handbag with a hideaway gold tone chain. The fabric is pleated gold lame on the outside and lined with a golden hued satin inside, one inner side pocket. The foldover clasp is adorned with a large faceted glass crystal jewel, bezel set onto the rounded end of the clasp. The metal frame is scalloped and covered with a matching golden lame fabric, minus the pleats.

This formal purse looks like it has never been used and is in excellent, spotless condition, no tarnish to the metal links of the chain strap. Measures about 8 inches across the wider bottom, 4 1/2 inches at the top and 5 1/2 top to bottom middle. Puffs out to about a 1 1/2 inch depth at the side bottom. The faceted glass jewel is 1/2 inch diameter.
