Vintage Bisque Porcelain Powder Jar Pink White Roses California Ceramic
Such a pretty vanity accessory in the form of a round powder jar or trinket box that is made from a very delicate bisque porcelain and looks like jasperware. The jar and lid are pastel matte pink, with a white bas relief of roses and leaves on the lid, and leaves and rope on the base.
The bottom is engraved Calif. Ceramic & Supply (c)1952 L.H. Very reminiscent of the style of Wedgwood pottery and jasperware.
The base is 6 inches diameter, 3 1/2 inches across the rim and 4 inches across the base, while the slightly domes lid is 4 1/4 inches across the top, 3 1/4 rim diameter. Condition is excellent and very clean. This piece must have been carefully stored for almost 60 years to be in such fine condition.
