Whitewash Embroidered Lace Blouse Long Sleeves Button Poet Shirt

I am not sure if this Whitewash blouse is vintage or contemporary as it came from an estate sale. The style is Victorian romantic, with a sheer rayon fabric, exquisitely embroidered with floral patterns, creating a lovely lace design. These blouses are sometimes referred to as Poet shirts, and this BoHo style was also very popular during the Hippie era.

The button front shirt is softly flowing,with a tiered layers at the collar, cuffs and bottom. The front is cut shorter than the sides and back, creating an alluring shape.

Condition is pre-owned, clean and excellent, appearing to have been seldom worn. Size is medium, 18 inches across the darted bust. Front length along the button line is 11 inches, increasing to 26 inches at the center back. The sleeves are 23 inches long at the top.
