Vintage Swing Coat Black Velvet Satin Lined Wide Collar Pockets 365 All-State Mad Men

This is one of those special vintage clothing finds! A swing style coat from the 1950s - 60s period, very Mad Men fashion! The black velvet coat is fully lined in a black satin (silk?) fabric and is exquisitely tailored, with the design label "365 by All-State" stitched into the inside. I can just imagine an elegantly clad Mid-Century lady in this coat!

The three quarter length coat has a 4.4 inch wide rounded collar, that can be worn flapped up or down. The elegant coat closes with three large 2 inch diameter buttons, also velvet covered. There is a fourth buttonhole at the bottom, so one button appears missing, but not needed or noticed. One underarm seam appears stitched over. The coat can be buttoned up at the neckline or worn open collar style. The top button has some wear to the velvet at one end.

The 18 inch inner seam length sleeves can be worn with the 3.5 inch cuff rolled up or down. Coat length is 34.5 inches front and 38.5 inches back, with a 21 inch bust width, underarm. Two ample slash pockets on either side. Approx 24 inches wide at the bottom.
