This beautiful porcelain vase was made c1930 in Quaregnon,Belgium. The original foil label is still attached with a Quaregnon Crown and crossed paintbrushes marked Peint Mein and Hand Painted with Hubert Bequet's initials and a scroll with CERAMIQUE D'ART. The white base has a series of embossed numbers. The inside is also white, while the outside is expertly hand painted, with a rich burgundy or plum background, gold trim, and ornate flowers, curlicues and other decorations.

The vase has a classic shape, with flared rim leading to a narrow neck, opening to a bulbous body that narrows again to a flared foot. Excellent condition with very small wear spot to the gold trim on the rim. Height is 8 inches, rim diameter 3.25 inches, base diameter 2.75 inches, 6.5 inches center diameter.
