Vintage Silk Poet Shirt Mercedes Adrienne Romantic 80s Applique Embroidered

The Romantic Poet look of the Eighties is evident in this vintage silk shirt with padded shoulders and exquisite floral art applique work with embroidery.The color is a creamy ivory with deeper beige accents

The designer label is Mercedes& Adrienne& Co, and has an additional label in English and French that reads "Copyright for ArtWork Mercedes & Adrienne 1984", and the 3rd label is also French and English and reads 100% silk Made in Hong Kong RN 57159 CA03605 (8)

The long sleeved and loose fitting shirt has a mandarin style 1 inch collar that closes with a covered button, as do the almost 1.5 inch cuffs. The front closes top to bottom with buttons and has a flap panel covering them.There is also a stitched over press stud at the top under the collar

The front back and sleeves are lavishly decorated with cut out floral appliques and embroidery, textured sheer in areas. Condition is clean and excellent!
