Vintage Cardigan Sweater Bee by Banff Soft Pure Wool Lined

A vintage 1950s lined woolen cardigan made for the British Company BANFF in Hong Kong.

This creamy beige soft wool cardigan has a diamond pattern with an abstract floral theme, and it is lined in soft white satin silk that glimmers through the wool to create a luxurious effect.

The cardigan sweater closes with 9 small pearled buttons, has a scalloped tightly ribbed collar cuffs, bottom and front edges, 1.25 inches wide.

Inner sleeve length is 18 inches to 3 inch diameter cuffs and the length of the cardigan from the neckline is 24 inches with a 38 inch chest and 16.5 inch collar The wool and lining are in excellent condition no damage and only very light wear to the wool.

The label reads 100% WOOL Made In Hong Kong and then has the Sweater Bee signature and triple crown wreathe and BANFF LTD trademark and "every sale a honey" all stitched in black and gold thread.

Beautifully made and finished, in the tailored style that British Hong Kong was famous for during the mid 20th Century.
