Vintage Handbag Etra Leather Clutch Chain Strap Burgundy Reptile

A burgundy leather vintage handbag by Etra that is embossed to look like reptile skin. It looks like lizard to me, but I have seen this style of printed leather also called faux snake or alligator / crocodile skin.

The purse has a gold tone metal frame with snap lock clasp, and has a chain link shoulder strap that can be tucked inside to convert to a clutch purse. The interior is lined with rich golden ribbed fabric, and there are two compartments, separated by a third zippered pouch.

The Etra Genuine Leather signature label is attached inside. Dimensions are 8 x 6 1/4 inches and the condition is excellent, so clean inside that this handbag looks to have been hardly ever used. The maroon plum leather has retained its luster.

Smart for day wear and elegant for evening. A really nice vintage bag.
