Vintage Designer Tunic Sweater Augustina Leather Snakeskin Trim Hand Knit Padded Shoulders

Absolutely fabulous 70s -80s couture sweater by Southwestern Fashion Designer Augustina. The hand knit ivory pullover is beautifully tailored in a poly - cotton blend yarn that has a slight elasticity. The highlight of this elegant sweater is its padded shoulders and exquisite embossed leather and snakeskin patchwork trim applique, in shades of beige. If you were a fashion fan of the TV show Dynasty, then this sweater is for you! Hand Signed AUGUSTINA chamois leather designer label. This was a very expensive sweater.

All is in excellent condition, but there is a small (1 1/2 by 1/2 inch) pale pink stain upper sleeve front on the right side. Today's advances in spot cleaning should quickly remove that. The sweater is otherwise clean and in wonderful condition, especially the amazing leather patchwork. This one of a kind sweater was very expensive when originally purchased, and other Augustina vintage sweaters have $100+ price tags. I have substantially reduced the price on this one.

The crew neck closes at the back with a looped pretty lucite aurora borealis bauble button and teardrop opening

Size is small - medium, with the stretch in the yarn making a versatile fit. Measurements are given relaxed, so would expand a couple of inches with stretch.
