Vintage Tunic Pullover AMI Petites Pink Blue Pastel Floral Cotton Knit Eighties

A lovely pullover from the 1980s by knitwear designer Ami, a very fashionable label for couture knitted clothing. This is a long sweater, that could also be worn as a mini dress or tunic. The soft cotton yarn is pastel pink and blue, with large flowers accenting. The shoulders are padded, as was fashionable in the eighties, easily removed if you prefer. The pullover has a boat neck. The fabric is not mentioned on the label, but it is either pure cotton or a cotton blend.

Overall condition is excellent and clean, with a few catches (unbroken, I have noticed 3) where the thread can be pulled through to the inside. Hardly noticeable.

Size 2 is on the care label (hand wash) and the other label has the Ami signature with the flower dotting the i, as well as "petites". Bust is 17 1/2 inches underarm, unstretched. Length is 30 inches front and back. Underarm sleeve length is 18 1/2, upper is 20 inches
