Vintage Shorts Plaid Stewart Tartan Culottes

Vintage plaid culottes style shorts in the Stewart Tartan, which has a red and black background with blue, green yellow and white. I have a similar jacket listed separately as R977 (photos included). The shorts are high waisted and mid thigh length, with a slight flare in the leg. The shorts have diagonal side pockets, pleated front, with zipper and black button, plus four belt loops, 2 front, 2 back. Condition is excellent vintage. Designer label "Claude". The fabric feels like a lightweight cotton blend.

Measurements:

Waist is 14 inches across (28) and 14 inches to crotch in front, 17 inches back

Legs are 12 inches across bottom and 22 inches length from waist
