Colorful Mikasa 8 1/4" Conical Vase, Water Lilies, 1976-79

This beautiful vase has a pleasing conical shape in a wrapped mold form. The vibrant blossoms are is shades of saffron, buttercup and sun-yellow and the bright leaves are mint and grass-green with teal and moss green shading. The impression of the flowers growing in the bright light of a sunny spring day is well done.

In excellent condition with no chips, nicks, cracks or hairlines. The base is marked with the floral logo for this "Water Lilies" pattern and bears the Mikasa mark and pattern #A4190. The pattern was produced from 1976-79. Mikasa is one of my favorite china manufacturers and, in my opinion, rather underrated. Thanks for stopping by!
