Filet Crocheted Lace Monogram L Insert on Towel c 1900-20

Antique 1900s-20s linen and cotton blend bird’s-eye weave towel, with filet-crocheted lace monogram “” insert. Measures 27 ¼” x 16 ¾”. While in perfectly sound condition, there are pale yellow speckles along the sides and also a bit in the ground as shown, not terrifically noticeable but certainly there. It has been treated including with rust remover, and will not come out, though repeated wetting and sunning this summer may do the trick. Freshly hand laundered and ready for immediate use. Note: Insurance can be deleted by the buyer for this item at time of purchase order if preferred.
