Vintage LUCITE Bracelet 1960's Black & White Bangle

This genuine vintage 1960's Lucite bracelet is a fun bangle. It has alternating white and black color sections. The bracelet is made from a high quality genuine 1960's Lucite. It was made by the Best Plastics Company. Bracelets from the Best Plastics Company are featured in several vintage plastic jewelry guides.

The DuPont Company began commercial production of Lucite in 1936. Lucite is a strong, transparent thermoplastic. It is clear in color but it can be tinted with any color, in this case black & white.

The bangle is approximately 2 9/16 inches in diameter on the inside and just shy of 1 inch wide. It is in excellent, never worn condition.
