Vintage Buch & Deichmann Plastic Bracelet Set Denmark UNWORN & SIGNED

What great colors! This is a really wonderful vintage bangle bracelet set by Buch & Deichmann, also known as B+D, circa 1978. The set features sleek Danish design and consists of (8) bangle bracelets in graduated colors. These items were made by Ketty Dalsgaard for B&D. They are made of a hard nylon plastic. What makes these bracelets so special is that Ketty Dalsgaard hand-colored these plastic bangles which gives them their color vibrancy, brightness, and "glow". You won't see that in other vintage plastic bangles - it is easy to see the difference when you compare them side to side with other vintage plastic bangles. See all the photos for these bangles.

The company is located in Denmark. In the 1970's the company began producing plastic bracelets, plastic earrings, chokers and brooches. By the 1980s, B+D focused on producing hair accessories, which sold in high-end department stores. The company no longer makes plastic jewelry and their jewelry items are now very collectible and sought after.

The bracelets are 5mm thick and have an interior diameter of 2 5/8 inches- easier to get on. All bracelets are signed: Ketty Dalsgaard: Denmark B&D.

This set has never been worn. It is is excellent condition - any minimal wear is from storage.
