Vintage Lucite Bracelet Black & White Moire Bangle 1960's Mod

This is a stylish black & white moire pattern Lucite bangle bracelet, circa 1960's. Moire bangles use two or more colors to create a patterned design. Look at all the photos to see how the patterns change around the bangle. The bangle bracelet is made from a high quality genuine vintage Lucite. The DuPont Company began commercial production of Lucite in 1936. Lucite is a strong, transparent thermoplastic. It is clear in color but it can be tinted with any color, in this case Black & white.

The bangle measures approximately 2.5 inches in diameter on the inside and it is just shy of 1 inch wide. It is in excellent condition.
