Boyds Bears "I Am The Queen of the Universe" Resin Figurine 1998
Boyds Bears 1998 Boyds Celebration Edition from the Bearstone Collection features a seated "Queen of the Universe" Elizabeth with Rosencrantz and Guilderstern. This "queen bear" has a crown and ornate robe while holding a plate of sweets and a scepter. The figurine is fabulously ornate and has the words "The Queen of the Universe" on the lower front and the saying "It's a funny thing about life: If you refuse to accept anything but the best, you very often get it." -Somerset Maugham on the back of her throne. Below it says "The Most Important Calls!" The bottom of the figurine has a quotation by Alice Roosevelt Longworth. Measures 4.5" x 4.5" x 3" (11.4 cm x 11.4 cm x 7.8 cm). Also is marked Style #01998-71 Elizabeth with Rosencrantz and Guilderstern. Over all very good condition, with a small white spot at the top of the queen's throne and on her crown, although these are not obvious flaws.
