CLEARANCE SALE! SAVE $50! McClelland Barclay Pin - Sapphire Blue and Clear Rhinestones

I've long been a fan of jewelry from McClelland Barclay and with good reason: the pieces are beautiful with their artistic designs, very collectible and of high quality construction. One only has to search McClelland Barclay here on Ruby Lane and other online sites that sell designer vintage jewelry to see what high prices jewelry by this designer commands and gets.

The lovely pin being offered here on consignment is 2" diameter brooch featuring clear rhinestones in a stunning art deco design arranged around 3 cobalt blue sapphire colored stones, two of which are 1/2" long pear-shapes and the central one being an emerald-cut measuring 3/8" X 1/4".

The finish is most likely rhodium-plate in very good condition ie.. still bright and shiny, and the signature "McClelland Barclay" is stamped on the rear.

We could ask much more for this pin if it weren't for the fact that 3 of the clear rhinestones are missing, and a few are showing some yellowing. As always, this discoloration is much more noticeable under our macro lenses ie. you don't see it much just looking at the pin. If you are into repairing and restoring designer vintage, this is a worthwhile project when the designer is McClelland Barclay.
