Elegant Vintage Ladies Swirl FINE Diamond Pin Brooch

The diamonds, like we said, are beautiful! Clean & bright, there are 9 diamonds that graduate from small to large back to small again in an 'S' like swirl design. Their clarity is excellent VS2 to Si1 - no noticeable inclusions to the naked eye and hardly anything even under magnification, and their color white F-G! They are set in white gold, while the rest of the pin is in yellow gold! The smallest diamond measures 1.70mm round, and the largest 2.40mm, with an overall estimated carat weight of 0.25ct.

As the pin was tagged as 12k and is completely unmarked anywhere, we've acid tested it for purity: we are getting a definite reading of 12k and still a strong reading for 14k, so we will say it is in the least 12kt gold, and possibly 14kt.

The pin (from end to end) measures 37.33mm or 1.469 inches long and is 10.31mm or 0.406 inches wide, and weighs just about 4 grams. Though a pin, you could run a chain under the pin stem itself & wear it as a pendant if you ever wanted to do so - it looks lovely either way!

The condition is wonderful with only the pin stem showing a slight bend typical of pins. It is in perfect working condition however, and as no one ever sees the stem, isn't detrimental to the look of the pin!!
