Softly Gathered Black Silk JR Miami Handbag - 1950's

This lovely vintage two handled handbag has a beautiful soft cream silk lining with 'JR USA ' stamped on the lining. There is a brushed goldtone metal snap closure which shows some very minor surface wear.

The bag measures 12" wide by 6-1/2" tall with a handle drop of 4-3/4". The lining is very clean as is the black silk on the outside of the bag.

The purse comes with a bonus pair of unworn white elbow length evening gloves with Ogilvy's department store price tag still attached. The gloves are size 7-1/2 and measure 15" long. The material is polyester or similar but has a very delicate pattern which simulates the look of leather.

This gorgeous vintage handbag is in excellent condition and would be suitable for any dress occasion.
