River Raisin Settlement Commemorative Plate
River Raisin Settlement - 1785, Monroe County Michigan limited edition collector plate is a facsimile of an 18th century French plate commemorating the Navarre Anderson Trading Post built circa 1796. Plate was prepared for Monroe County Historical Society's 1972 - 1976 Museum Development and Restoration Fund. Plate was presented in appreciation of a kind donation. There were 1,796 pieces made and distributed. The serial number of this particular plate is illegible. Plate measure 10 1/4" and is in excellent condition
