Lovely Pair Chinese Sauce Dishes - Turquoise

Beautiful vintage pair of small sauce dishes from China. These bowls have brilliant coloring and boast the wonderful turquoise color on the inside found in so many Chinese objects of the period. The bottom reads only 'China', dating these to between 1891 and 1919. On the outside of each bowl there are blue flowers on one side and pink on the other. Each bowl has a unique insect painted between the flowers. These bowls are in an octagon shape and are in excellent condition. They are unique serving or display pieces and a great addition to any collection.
