Lovely Sake Set - 2 Decanters, 8 Cups - Japan

Wonderful 'double' Sake set - includes 2 carafes and 8 cups. The style is simple and elegant - white porcelain with gold trim. There is a round symbol on each piece. The meaning of the symbol I could not find, but it is very simple and painted in gold. Made in Japan around the mid-20th century, this set is in excellent condition. On the carafes, there are some very subtle glaze drippings where the glaze may have been applied quickly. The bottom reads 'Made in Japan' in red. This is an elegant set and would fit into any decor. Dimensions: Decanter - 2 1/2" W by 5" H. Cups - 2 1/4" W by 1 1/4" H.
