1950's Two Strand Antique Gold Tone and Black Bead Choker

This is a 1950s two strand antique gold tone and black bead necklace. It is marked Japan on the hook closure. The shortest strand measures 13”, without the extension, and 16” with the extension. The beads are graduated with the center bead; a round antique gold tone bead. This is followed by two oblong antique gold tone beads, on each side of the center bead, that are designed to look like a spiral. A silver and black textured bead with a black many sided bead are on both sides of the center beads. The next bead after this very attractive center design is a smaller round antique gold tone bead, and then an antique gold tone oblong antique gold tone bead. The rest of the beads are smaller round antique gold tone beads. All the beads are plastic, making this a particularly comfortable choker to wear.30
