FABULOUS and UNIQUE Belleek Hexagon Jardiniere with Devil
This 6-sided, hand painted, Belleek vase or jardiniere features on three sides a colorful, art nouveau design and, on the other three, a scary character reminiscent of Royal Bayreuth's devil. Lots of radiant gold has been used to highlight this original artwork and the teeth have been embellished so when one run their finger across them, they can feel each and every one. It stands, from its golden rim to its round base, 6.5 inches and, at the widest point, has a circumference of about 25 inches. Reversed is a Lenox Belleek Palette hallmark used between 1906 and 1924. Outstanding masterpiece nestled amongst a Limoges or Pickard collection!
With the exception of a tight hairline on the bottom which is shown in the last photo, this rare, hand painted, American beauty is in excellent condition with no paint flakes or chips.
