This superb teacup from Belleek is most definitely for the lady by the sea. And in pink! The best way to describe it is just say look at the pictures, but I shall try. The cup is shaped as a scallop shell with deep ribbing and depression from inside the cup at the shell base. A beautiful soft pink washes near the edge which is finished in gold. The handle is pink and resembles a twig. Two conch shells with gold interiors serve as cup feet. The saucer is round but appears slightly fluted as the ribs are raised. The ground is the normal shade for Belleek which is an off -white.

The saucer is 5 3/4 in diameter and the cup stands at 2 1/4 inches. It is mint in condition and from the 1990s. A lovely gift and addition for the collector indeed!
